This episode pays off some of the mysteries that were set up in the last couple of episodes. In particular we learn some important details about Zelda’s past, and the reasons why she is so devoted to Buskirk’s home planet of Valeria.

Many thanks to Dougo13 for providing the rare video source, recorded on a Betamax videocassette by his friend in Nagasaki on December 8th, 1984. Very nice quality for a home video recording made over three decades ago!
looking forward to seeing it

Thank you Nanto for all your hard work, I’m really having fun watching this show, a bit cheesy at times, but I wouldn’t expect it any other way considering its age.
Please keep up the good work and keep these episodes coming 🙂

One of the animators must be a GeGeGe no Kitarou fan because that kid is a spitting image of him.

Yay! Thank you Nanto for all your hard work. Once again, I would NEVER have the opportunity to see this program without you, and I appreciate that.

Hey Nanto, keeping us updated with any Lensman upcoming episodes would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Episode 10 (the last one in the current story arc) is currently in translation. It does take a long time to get each episode completed, because of all the hours that each person has to spend working on it, but we plan on continuing to subtitle more episodes.

Thank you Nanto, it’s hard to find people that give you things that require a lot of effort and ask nothing in return.
Much appreciated and all the best.

You’ve been quiet on the fansubbing front for awhile now. Real life issues?

It’s partly real life issues, and partly because several of the things I’m currently working on are batch torrents where I have to check multiple episodes over and over.
I still get at least some time (even if it sometimes ends up being as little as an hour or so) of subtitling work done just about every day. But the above reasons are why I haven’t had as many releases this year. I do have quite a few episodes of different shows in the pipeline, so people have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks and months.
