Hi! You might be able to help me. I sort of made (only slightly butchered) English subtitles for all of Sally the Witch 1. I had posted the series to YouTube and got deactivated a couple of weeks later. I want to make them accessible somewhere and don’t know where to start because I’ve never subbed anything before. Would you maybe be interested in hosting them here?
Figured I’d reach out since you’ve been a prominent figure in my recent 60s anime adventures. While I’m at it, will the second half of Cyborg 009 happen?

The second half of Cyborg 009 (1968) has been delayed a little, but that is one project I do plan on completing. I’ll drop you a line about the Sally project.

I’ve found the russian subs for sally the witch(every episode has russian subs), I’ve also been requested to try to help with the sally translation(my japanese ain’t that good and I need all the help I can get from the pros, plus my translations need pr), so if you want we can contact on discord or something and talk from there.

I saw the TSHS-HNG listing on nyaa for 1968 season of eps 1-22 and ep 23 (incredible, thank you!!!!). Are there plans in the pipeline for eps 24-65 or is that up in the air / dependant on response, etc?

You are very welcome! We are planning on subtitling more episodes of the various decades of GeGeGe no Kitaro, including the OG 1968 series, it’s just a matter of when we get time to work on them.
