Kim’s Lens causes him to have a premonition in which he is attempting to rescue a princess; the premonition abruptly ends with the two of them being cornered by her pursuers and falling into a crevasse. Mentor tells Kim that this is Princess Kirara of Planet Kiriland. The members of Galactic Patrol know Kiriland as a legendary planet that has been immortalized in the works of a famous Valerian writer, but despite the skepticism of many of the crew (particularly Henderson), the Brittania sets off to find out if this planet actually exists. Luckily Worsel intercepts them to warn of Boskone forces lurking in the nebula that the Brittania will have to pass through…

By the way, the Mega links are to folders which contain the most recent updates to all of the earlier episodes. We’ll probably be doing more updated batch torrents eventually, but for now the most recent revisions of everything are on Mega.

Thanks to our friends from /m/subs for their continued partnership in this project, including sky79 for the translation, starseeker for translation QC, and Marty McFlies for final checks. Be sure to visit their website here, for mecha goodness including Getter Robo, SPT Layzner and Dragonar.

Also Marty McFlies has been doing some cool projects of his own over at Lonely Chaser Fansubs, including the first few episodes of Dorvack and Galatt. Check his site out here. Despite the name, Lonely Chaser isn’t subtitling Galvion, but Inka-Subs is, check them out here. I’d also like to mention that the Dr. Slump TV special “Penguin Village’s Legends” is available from shiteatersubs here. Back in the 80s we used to call this special “The Quest for Toilet Paper,” and I guess it’s even more relevant than ever these days.

And of course an extra-special thanks goes out to Dougo13 for providing the Betamax source video for this rare Lensman TV episode, recorded by his friend in Nagasaki on January 5, 1985. Without the generous help of old-school video collectors, this project would not have been possible.

Is it that time again? Time to heap thanks and praise on Nanto for bringing us even more Lensman TV?
    Yup.
Thank you VERY much Nanto, I appreciate you doing this for us. I’ve said it before, and it bears saying again, I would never be able to see this if it wasn’t for you. I appreciate it.

Can’t thank you enough for keeping this going, Nanto.
Aside from Queen Millennnia this is THE BEST project ever, in my opinion.
To think that it’s been rescued at all is amazing, but all the way from Beta Max sources is just beyond cool. You and your sources are like the Indiana Jones of rare finds.

Thanks also for the plugs for Inka-subs and Marty McFlies.
So glad to find out about them.
